The ShepherdWeb database reflects research compiled by
Danny K. Shepherd, of Eagle River, Alaska, supported by input
from the current Grand Matriarch of the clan, granddaughter of
"Flitterfoot",  Martha Whitaker of Liberty Mills, Indiana.
Support from her late husband, Lacy Whitaker, and their
daughter, Sadie Shafer of Macy, Indiana is also appreciated.
Dallas Howard of Liberty Mills, Indiana, was also consulted and
his efforts helped to confirm research findings. Further, Dallas
continues his contact efforts of family members and reports his
latest findings to ShepherdWeb.  Therefore, his support to our
ever growing datalinks has proven invaluable. Also, we have
received personal input from many, without whose efforts and
support ShepherdWeb would not be possible.  Of particular note
among those are none other than Mortie Shepherd, 91, of
Claypool, Indiana. We thank each of you! "Special Thanks"
also to all those who took the time to update your family history
and submit it to the Webmaster. Without your input, the
'ShepherdTree' cannot grow! And last, but not least, "Special
Thanks" to Louise Craft, daughter of Mabry Shepherd, and wife
of Benjamin Craft of Powell, Tennessee, and to Rose Mary
Tolson, daughter of Alonzo Shepherd, and wife of Hager Tolson
of Knox, Indiana. Without their pictorial support, the
ShepherdWeb Photo Album would not exist. With their pictorial
seeds planted, it is hoped that many more will be sowed beside
them so that the album will continue to grow and flourish - with
 YOUR support it shall!
Flip through the most extensive Shepherd family album online. Many forefathers are featured here in ShepherdWeb's historical memory lane!
